The College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State University (MSU) houses the Department of Art, Art History, and Design (AAHD), which offers a BFA in Graphic Design. Finding the right type of guy
You’ll learn to think critically, creatively, experimentally and strategically, in order to create visual messages that can be shared in meaningful ways through a variety of media. The VCUArts Graphic Design BFA consists of 122 credit hours, including the Art Foundation Program (AFO), which provides a first year, studio-based experience that explores current issues in art and design. Upon completion of the AFO, students move on to studio and seminar courses in graphic design that will help them develop skills in interaction design, publication and print design, and sequential and motion design. The Graphic Design Program benefits from handmade and mixed media influences, while providing contemporary digital technologies (regularly updated to remain consistent with the standards of the design profession). The Letterpress facility, available for student use in STA 491E during the Spring semester or on an individual basis, is equipped with several presses and full sets of type. Four computer labs supported by full-time technical staff house Apple computers, equipped with the newest versions of image-making software (page layout, photo manipulation, vector illustration, video editing, motion graphics, and web authoring). Alongside her professional work, she is adjunct faculty at Lesley Art + Design where she teaches Typography and Visual Communication.

She brings a holistic thinking and approach to her work as a visual communicator and educator, that is rooted in an inter-disciplinary background in architecture, design, and art.
